ENTHRALLED is an anthology of nineteen authors who all came together last summer for a multi-city tour. The Smart Chicks tour was started by authors Kelley Armstrong & Melissa Marr, both fan favorites. ENTHRALLED delivers sixteen stories from fantastic YA authors.
I am bringing a review on one of the stories included:
SKIN CONTACT by Kimberly Derting, author of THE BODY FINDER & DESIRES OF THE DEAD, is the first one I read because it provided me the back story on Rafe. A character Kim introduced in DoD. Rafe is one of those characters that has just enough mystery to cause a ripple in Violet and Jay’s relationship, so knowing more about him is a must. SKIN CONTACT also shows us the relationship of FBI Agent, Sara Priest and Rafe. As we know from DoD, Sara wants nothing more than to have Violet on her side.
To say that Rafe is a tortured soul would not be doing him justice. Rafe dreams of the future. I’m not talking about you thinking about what college you will attend or what color prom dress you are going to wear this year. His dreams are of events and actions that are going to happen. He used to doubt them because they felt more like memories to him; memories that didn’t happen. That is until he stopped second guessing himself.
When someone he loves shows up in his dreams, Rafe takes off to find her…to save her. His girlfriend, Sophie, is in trouble and he is determined to save her before it is too late. The question is, will he get there in time.
